Na linii kolejowej nr 202 między Gdańskiem Głównym a Gdynią Chylonią trwają intensywne nocne prace torowe, które umożliwią zwiększenie prędkości pociągów z 100 do 120 km/h. Inwestycja PKP Polskich Linii Kolejowych S.A. ma poprawić stan infrastruktury i usprawnić przejazdy na jednym z najruchliwszych odcinków w kraju.
Roboty realizowane są nocą, aby zminimalizować wpływ na ruch pasażerski i towarowy – przez Trójmiasto przejeżdża codziennie ponad 260 pociągów. Zakres prac obejmuje regulację położenia torów przy użyciu specjalistycznego zespołu DPUS, na który składają się trzy maszyny: podbijarka, dynamiczny stabilizator toru oraz zgarniarka tłucznia. Dodatkowo uzupełniana jest podsypka tłuczniowa oraz regulowana sieć trakcyjna.
– Efektem robót będzie zapewnienie sprawnego i bezpiecznego ruchu pociągów oraz zwiększenie ich prędkości już od czerwcowej korekty rozkładu jazdy – informuje PKP PLK. Dzięki inwestycji poprawi się stan techniczny nawierzchni i parametry eksploatacyjne infrastruktury na kolejne lata.
