Pierwsza edycja Pchlego Targu w nowej lokalizacji okazała się strzałem w dziesiątkę. 11 maja wejherowianie i goście z całego regionu tłumnie odwiedzili polanę piknikową w Parku Miejskim w Wejherowie, zamieniając ją na jeden dzień w raj dla kolekcjonerów, miłośników staroci i łowców okazji.
Zmiana miejsca wydarzenia była podyktowana trwającą budową obiektu sportowo-rekreacyjnego na Osiedlu Przyjaźni. Decyzję o przeniesieniu targu do centrum miasta władze podjęły wspólnie z organizatorami.
– W związku z budową obiektu sportowo-rekreacyjnego na Osiedlu Przyjaźni wspólnie z inicjatorami tego wydarzenia postanowiliśmy zmienić lokalizację Pchlego Targu i przenieść go do Parku Miejskiego. Decyzja ta okazała się bardzo dobra, ponieważ jak widać zainteresowanie jest olbrzymie i już dochodzą nas głosy, że nowa lokalizacja przypadła do gustu zarówno mieszkańcom, jak i innym odwiedzającym to wydarzanie – podkreślił prezydent Wejherowa, Krzysztof Hildebrandt.

Na stoiskach nie zabrakło kolekcjonerskich rarytasów, porcelany, książek, płyt winylowych, rękodzieła, odzieży, zabawek, sprzętów elektrycznych i antyków.
