36-letni kierowca pędził 112 km/h w obszarze zabudowanym w Redzie. Został ukarany wysokim mandatem i stracił swoje uprawnienia do kierowania.
Na początku tygodnia policjanci wejherowskiej drogówki prowadzili kontrole drogowe w Redzie. Tuż przed godziną 21:00 zatrzymali na ul. Wejherowskiej samochód marki kia sportage. 36-letni kierowca jechał z prędkością 112 km/h w strefie, gdzie obowiązywało ograniczenie do 50 km/h. Podczas sprawdzania w policyjnych systemach okazało się, że to nie był jego pierwszy taki przypadek. Z powodu recydywy, mandat zamiast 2000 zł wyniósł 4000 zł, a kierowca otrzymał 14 punktów karnych. Policjanci odebrali mu również prawo jazdy.
– Pamiętajmy, że prędkość to jeden z kluczowych czynników prowadzących do tragicznych wypadków na drogach – mówi asp. sztab. Anetta Potrykus, oficer prasowy wejherowskiej policji.. – Każdy dodatkowy kilometr ponad dozwolony limit zwiększa ryzyko utraty kontroli nad pojazdem, wydłuża drogę hamowania i stwarza poważne zagrożenie dla innych uczestników ruchu: kierowców, pieszych czy rowerzystów.
Warto pamiętać, że prawo jazdy to nie jest bezwarunkowe prawo, lecz ogromny przywilej. Dopiero gdy je tracimy, uświadamiamy sobie, jak wiele tracimy, bo nagle nie możemy pojechać do sklepu na zakupy, do pracy, na wycieczkę czy choćby do lekarza. W takiej sytuacji stajemy się zależni od innych.
