W Sasinie (gmina Choczewo) doszło do szokującego nadużycia zaufania. Były proboszcz tamtejszej parafii, ksiądz Krzysztof Sz., jest podejrzany o przywłaszczenie łącznie 3,5 miliona złotych – informuje portal Onet. Znaczna część tej sumy to prywatne pożyczki udzielone mu przez parafian. Duchowny zniknął bez śladu, a prokuratura zawiesiła śledztwo.
Według relacji wiernych, którzy rozmawiali z reporterką Onetu, wszystko zaczęło się w 2023 roku. Wówczas proboszcz parafii w Sasinie rozpoczął intensywne działania inwestycyjne: remontował kościół, zbierał fundusze na pielgrzymki i planował montaż instalacji fotowoltaicznej.
Wierni – jak to często bywa w mniejszych miejscowościach – nie mieli powodów, by nie ufać księdzu. Pożyczali mu pieniądze, przekonani, że wspierają lokalną wspólnotę i że środki zostaną wykorzystane zgodnie z deklarowanym celem. Ksiądz jednak nie oddawał pożyczonych kwot.

– Proboszcz zajął się remontem zabytkowego kościoła w pobliskim Ciekocinie, a z datków sponsorów i comiesięcznych składek parafian odrestaurował witraże. Nawet na mszach pojawiał się ówczesny prezes Energi pan Obajtek.
Z czasem duchowny zaczął coraz częściej prosić o pieniądze – raz na ławki kościelne, innym razem na pielgrzymkę do Izraela, remont plebanii czy opłacenie ekipy budowlanej. Obiecywał zwrot pieniędzy, ale nie wywiązywał się z obietnic.
Wśród poszkodowanych znalazła się również sama parafia Rzymskokatolicka pw. Miłosierdzia Bożego w Sasinie, która miała stracić ponad milion złotych. To właśnie parafia zgłosiła sprawę do prokuratury.
Ksiądz Krzysztof Sz. usłyszał zarzuty wprowadzenia w błąd, przywłaszczenia powierzonego mienia oraz doprowadzenia do niekorzystnego rozporządzania nim. Choć planowano jego przeniesienie do parafii w Gniewie, duchowny zniknął i do dziś nie został odnaleziony.
Prokuratura zmuszona była zawiesić postępowanie, ponieważ – jak poinformowano – nie udało się ustalić miejsca pobytu podejrzanego. Poszkodowani nadal mają nadzieję na odzyskanie choć części swoich pieniędzy.
