Policjanci z wejherowskiej drogówki zatrzymali dwoje kierowców, którzy postanowili wsiąść za kierownicę, będąc pod wpływem alkoholu. Dzięki czujności świadka oraz szybkiej reakcji funkcjonariuszy zatrzymano kierowcę z powiatu wejherowskiego. W ręce drogówki wpadła też pijana mieszkanka Gdyni.
Pierwsze zatrzymanie miało miejsce w środę, 27 sierpnia, po telefonicznym zgłoszeniu od osoby postronnej. W powiecie puckim, w miejscowości Mosty, policjanci z wejherowskiej drogówki zatrzymali do kontroli drogowej mercedesa. Okazało się, że kierujący nim 40-letni mieszkaniec powiatu wejherowskiego był nietrzeźwy – miał ponad 2,5 promila alkoholu w organizmie. Mężczyźnie zatrzymano prawo jazdy, a dalsze postępowanie w tej sprawie będą prowadzili policjanci z Pucka.
Kolejne zatrzymanie miało miejsce tuż przed północą w Redzie. Na ulicy Gdańskiej policjanci także z ruchu drogowego zatrzymali do kontroli skodę. Kierująca nią 45-letnia mieszkanka Gdyni, jak się okazało, również była nietrzeźwa. Badanie alkotestem wykazało ponad promil alkoholu w organizmie. Kobieta także straciła prawo jazdy, a dalsze czynności w sprawie będą prowadzili funkcjonariusze z Redy.
– Prowadzenie pojazdu w stanie nietrzeźwości to przestępstwo, za które grozi kara do trzech lat pozbawienia wolności, wysoka grzywną i sądowy zakaz prowadzenia pojazdów – przypomina asp. sztab. Anetta Potrykus, oficer prasowy wejherowskiej policji. – Apelujemy do wszystkich kierowców o rozsądek i odpowiedzialność. Alkohol obniża refleks, zaburza koncentrację i spowalnia czas reakcji, co znacząco zwiększa ryzyko wypadku. Każdy nietrzeźwy kierowca stanowi poważne zagrożenie nie tylko dla siebie, ale i dla innych uczestników ruchu drogowego. Pamiętajmy – jeśli piliśmy alkohol, nie wsiadamy nigdy za kierownicę.
